Stefanie Held

Stefanie Held is Chief Strategy Officer at The Global Industry Hub, leveraging over 25 years of experience at the intersection of energy and climate technology, policy, and finance. She has worked across international entities, business advocacy organizations, and the private sector. Most recently, she led the development of pathways towards sustainable energy for 56 countries across multiple sectors,operationalizing UNDP's Sustainable Energy Hub.

Stefanie is regarded for her ability to simplify complex approaches, align diverse viewpoints toward common goals, and scale impact through targeted partnerships and practical ambition. Driven by curiosity of the interconnectedness of systems and what truly matters to people, she is passionate about working collaboratively to create scalable, affordable solutions. 

Stefanie graduated from the University of Kent, United Kingdom, in Chemistry. She holds an MBA from IMD, Switzerland. She is German, based in Geneva, and loves the outdoors.
