Shivani Desai

Shivani Desai is a Program Manager for Chemicals and Partnership at The Global Industry Hub, where she focuses on shaping our philanthropy strategy and deploying capital to advance a low-emissions chemicals industry. She manages a diverse portfolio of grants and partnerships across key global regions, engaging with a broad coalition of NGOs, re-grantors, policy think tanks, and other advocates to advance systems change in the sector. She has been with the Hub since its founding, contributing to its initial strategy and leading overall project management during the startup phase.

Shivani brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, philanthropy consulting, and public-private partnerships across global development challenges in emerging markets. She holds a Masters in Environmental Policy and International Development from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a Bachelors in Finance from University of Mumbai, India.
