Scott Shell is Sector Lead for Cement at The Global Industry, and is focused on matching grants portfolio to decarbonize the cement and concrete sectors. With over two decades of experience pioneering low-carbon and sustainable architectural design, Scott is a foremost expert on opportunities to reduce the carbon intensity of global building materials. He led design on some of the first zero-energy buildings, and has collaborated with partners in India, China, Africa, and more on speeding the adoption of low carbon cements.
Scott previously was a partner with EHDD Architecture and is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects. He has an architectural degree from Auburn University, and Master’s degrees from Stanford and the University of Chicago.
